Wave of Compassion contains 25 words of encouragement hidden among the wave of tiles. This piece was created for a show invitation to the 25 show at the Fitton Center for the Creative Arts. My theme of compassion can be explored as the viewer studies and discovers the hidden words. The use of mirror glass reflects on to the viewer, giving glimpses of their own image among the words of compassion. This mosaic art work washes the viewer in words of encouragement to reflect back into our world.
