Wings Of Hope mosaic mural is artists response to the world wide pandemic in 2020. Artists from 8 countries and 29 different United States created over 1000 glass mosaic butterflies and sent them to artist Lori Kay Farr. Lori Kay took these butterflies and wove them together to cover four columns on Monument Avenue outside the Fitton Center for the Creative Arts building. This project allowed over 300 artists to work safely in their studios but able to contribute to a large collaborative mosaic. The butterflies symbolize the transformation that happened world wide and the rebirth of new life where we can gather safely and spread our wings together.
